- Search Queries: The keywords you search for to provide our service
- Usage Data: Number of searches performed (for free tier limits)
- Cookie Data: A unique identifier stored in an HTTP-only cookie to track daily search limits for registered users
- IP Address: Your IP address is collected and stored to enforce daily search limits for anonymous (non-registered) users. This prevents abuse of our free tier.
- Technical Data: Browser type and device information for service optimization
2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification information (name, email) unless you create an account
- Payment information (handled securely by Stripe)
- Location data beyond country selection for search results
3. How We Use Your Data
- Service Delivery: To provide keyword suggestions from various platforms
- Usage Limits: To enforce free tier search limits (2 searches/day for anonymous users, 5 searches/day for registered users)
- Rate Limiting: IP addresses are used to identify and limit anonymous users to prevent abuse. This data is stored in our database and automatically deleted after 7 days.
- Caching: To improve performance and reduce API calls (cached for 24 hours)
- Analytics: To understand usage patterns and improve our service
4. Third-Party Services
We retrieve keyword suggestions from the following platforms:
- Google and YouTube search suggestions
- Amazon product search suggestions
- eBay search suggestions
- Bing search suggestions
- Etsy marketplace search suggestions

5. Data Storage & Security
- Database: We use Neon PostgreSQL to store cached keyword results and rate limiting data
- Keyword Cache Retention: Cached keywords are automatically deleted after 24 hours
- IP Address Retention: IP addresses used for rate limiting are automatically deleted after 7 days
- Security: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- Access: Only authorized personnel have access to the database
